Sing, Act and Dance
A carefully designed class to train children how to sing, dance and act. Not only will their training allow them to perform on stage but it will build confidence and develop important life skills.
As well as training for performances pupils will study the IDTA Musical Theatre Syllabus with a view to taking Musical Theatre Graded examinations.
A typical class will contain Drama, Vocal and Physical Prep.
DRAMA PREP-exploring breathing, articulation, communication and characterisation.
VOCAL PREP- Exploring different vocal sounds and rhythms.
PHYSICAL PREP- Exploring movement and expression.
The development of a Musical Theatre group performance which includeds singing (as a group or solo), Drama and Movement.
